Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Subscriptions
Study Bee offers access to certain website features for a recurring monthly fee (a “Subscription”). Subscriptions are intended and authorized only for personal, non-transferable, non-resale use.
By purchasing a Subscription, you authorize Study Bee or its payment processor to charge the initial amount and recurring Subscription fees disclosed at checkout. Your Subscription continues until you cancel it or we terminate it in accordance with our Terms of Service.
The price, billing frequency, any trial period, and any introductory offer applicable to your Subscription are disclosed at checkout. Please review these details before completing your purchase.
2. Trials and Automatic Renewal
Study Bee may offer a free trial or a paid introductory trial. Trial availability, duration, and any initial trial charge will be disclosed at checkout.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your trial will automatically convert to a paid monthly Subscription, and your payment method will be charged the recurring amount disclosed at checkout. A free trial has no initial trial charge to refund.
After the trial, or immediately if you subscribe without a trial, your Subscription automatically renews each month until canceled. Study Bee or its payment processor will charge your payment method on each renewal date at the agreed Subscription rate, subject to any price changes communicated in accordance with applicable law.
We will provide renewal reminders, price-change notices, and other Subscription notices where required by applicable law, and obtain any additional consent required for changes to your Subscription.
3. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your Subscription at any time. Cancellation disables future automatic renewals. To avoid the next Subscription charge, cancel before your trial ends or before your next renewal, subject to any applicable purchase-platform requirements described below.
For website Subscriptions, cancellation takes effect for future renewals when you complete cancellation through Manage Subscription or when we receive your cancellation request at the support email below. Our response time does not extend your billing obligation beyond a timely cancellation request.
Unless a refund ends the applicable access period or a purchase platform applies different trial-access rules, you will retain access through the end of your current paid trial or Subscription period. Cancellation does not itself request or entitle you to a refund of an amount already paid. Refund eligibility is explained below.
Deleting or uninstalling an app, or simply stopping use of Study Bee, does not cancel your Subscription.
Purchases through our website
Cancel online using Manage Subscription, also accessible from your website account, or email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Subscription.
Purchases through the Apple App Store, if available
Manage or cancel your Subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple advises canceling trial subscriptions at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Follow the cancellation instructions and timing shown by Apple for your purchase. See Apple’s subscription cancellation instructions.
Purchases through Google Play, if available
Manage or cancel your Subscription through the Subscriptions section of your Google Play account before the next renewal. Follow the cancellation instructions shown by Google Play for your purchase. See Google Play’s subscription cancellation instructions.
Purchases through PayPal, if available

4. Refunds
Initial trial charge: 48-hour refund window
If your Subscription includes a paid introductory trial, you may request a full refund of the initial trial amount within 48 hours of that initial charge. The 48-hour window begins when the initial trial payment is charged, not when the trial ends or when the first regular Subscription payment is charged.
To request this refund, email [email protected] within that 48-hour window. Include the email address associated with your account and, if available, your receipt or transaction reference. Eligibility is based on when you submit your request, not when our support team responds. You do not need to show that the trial was unused.
This refund offer applies only to the initial paid trial charge. It does not apply to the first regular Subscription payment after a trial, subsequent renewals, or a Subscription purchased without a paid trial.
Subscription charges and unused access
Except for the initial trial refund described above, any separate written refund guarantee applicable to your purchase, or refunds required by law, Subscription charges are non-refundable.
We do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partially used billing periods, unused Subscription time, unused features, account inactivity, or cancellation after a Subscription charge has been incurred.
Discretionary refunds
Study Bee reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to issue a refund or credit in other circumstances. A discretionary refund or credit in one instance does not create an obligation to provide one in another instance or change this policy. This discretion does not limit your entitlement to an eligible initial trial refund or any refund required by law.
Refund handling and cancellation
A refund request is separate from cancellation. If you also want to stop future charges, cancel using the instructions above or explicitly request cancellation in your refund email. For Apple or Google Play purchases, also complete cancellation through the applicable platform.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, subject to the payment provider’s procedures. The time for funds to appear depends on your payment provider and financial institution. Access associated with a refunded payment may end when the refund is issued.
If your purchase was billed by Apple or Google Play, that platform’s refund procedures and applicable terms also apply. Contact us within the 48-hour window for an initial trial refund request so we can assist with the applicable process. Nothing in this policy restricts additional refund rights provided by the platform or applicable law.
5. Your Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where applicable law provides rights that differ from this policy, those legal rights apply.
